I'm writing this on behalf of Philip to let all those who read his blog know that his beloved wife Dilys died on 21 February. She was nearly 86 and they had had 61 happy years of marriage together.

The thanksgiving service will be on 6 March and I know that Philip and his family would be grateful for your prayers.

I am sure that Philip will take up his blog again in due course.
